E-mail Scanning and Protection – Interoute support the industry-leading MessageLabs™ anti-virus and anti-spam solution for real-time e-mail filtering and protection. Using heuristic methods combined with a global database, we provide guaranteed integrity with alerts and online reporting. Web Anti-Virus and Content Filtering – Our web filtering service protects against risks from spyware, inappropriate web surfing, instant messaging, video streaming and peer-to-peer file sharing – while improving overall Web performance. Resilient Voice Communication – iSip is the world’s first secure corporate Voice over IP (VoIP) service, giving unlimited calls to and from your business community, as well as free calls to any other VoIP user in the world. The service is location-independent, allowing transfer of a customer’s entire voice connectivity from one office to anywhere else in the world at the press of a button. Data Backup and Restore – Interoute’s hosting services include daily system and content back-up options, duplicate copy off-site storage, and expedited data restore capabilities. Additionally, Interoute can remotely backup customer data over Internet, Ethernet and VPN connections. Back-up is supported on Windows, Solaris, and Linux platforms, and includes live database backup options and ‘bare metal’ restore capabilities. We can offer long-term archive solutions to meet regulatory requirements. Data can be securely housed at third party off-site facilities for periods ranging from 90 days to 10 years. Secure Managed Hosting – For increased security, Interoute can house and manage customer equipment in our secure data centres. We can also design and supply complete ‘security hardened’ hosted systems comprising firewalls, load balancers, and servers. We supply ‘lockeddown’ versions of operating systems with ongoing patch management, vulnerability assessment and security monitoring. Disaster Recovery – Interoute offers classic DR services including hot and cold-standby colocation infrastructure in our data centres connected to primary customer systems over our network. We also offer Managed REVIVE™ – a complete real-time data replication solution. Managed REVIVE™ can also operate in dynamic fail-over mode, taking over operations in the event of any type of system failure. In addition, our fibre, wavelength, SDH and Ethernet network services can be used for bespoke disaster recovery solutions. Network Storage Solutions – Interoute can offer DAS (Directly Attached Storage), SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage) services within our data centres. We also support resilient customer storage networks over our metro and long-distance network including FICON, ESCON and Fibre Channel connectivity. |
